Terms & Conditions – The Busy Bee Printery LLC Pop-Up Shops
1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions govern all transactions made through pop-up shops hosted by The Busy Bee Printery LLC. By placing an order, customers agree to these terms.
2. Order Processing & Fulfillment
- Orders placed through a pop-up shop are custom-made and require a 12-14 business day production window after the ordering period closes.
- Rush orders are not available.
3. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
- All sales are final. Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges unless there is a defect or an error on our part.
- Customers must report any defective or incorrect items within 12 hours of receiving their order by emailing thebusybeeprintery@gmail.com with supporting photos.
- If an issue is confirmed, we will arrange for a replacement or refund at our discretion.
4. Artwork & Design Policies
Customer-Provided Artwork
- Customers must provide high-resolution images (PNG, SVG, AI, EPS, or PDF).
- The Busy Bee Printery LLC is not responsible for poor print quality due to low-resolution artwork.
Artwork Creation & Modifications
- If customers need new artwork or modifications, The Busy Bee Printery LLC offers design services for $25-$50, depending on complexity.
- Customers will receive at least three design options before finalizing their order.
- If an organization is running the pop-up shop, the artwork fee may be deducted from their total profit payout.
Organization Product & Logo Selection
- Organizations may select products to feature in their pop-up shop.
- If an organization requests a logo change after mock images have been created and posted, a fee will be charged to remake the images with the new logo.
Customer-Provided Product Blanks
- Customers may provide their own product blanks for printing, but they assume the risk of potential damage during the printing process.
- The Busy Bee Printery LLC is not responsible for replacing or reimbursing any customer-supplied items that are damaged due to human error, misprints, or equipment malfunctions.
Copyright Responsibility
- Customers must have the legal right to use any logos, images, or designs submitted.
- The Busy Bee Printery LLC is not liable for copyright infringement if a customer submits artwork they do not own or have permission to use.
- If an artwork submission is suspected of violating copyright laws, we reserve the right to reject the order.
Proof Approval
- Customers must approve all artwork before printing.
- Once approved, no further changes can be made.
- The Busy Bee Printery LLC is not responsible for errors in approved artwork, including spelling mistakes or incorrect placements.
Reorders & File Storage
- We do not guarantee indefinite storage of customer-submitted artwork.
- If a customer wants to reorder a previous design, they must resubmit their artwork or confirm its availability.
5. Payment Terms
- All orders must be paid in full at checkout.
- If an organization incurs an artwork fee, it may be deducted from their total profit payout.
- Payments can be written as a donation to the organization, allowing organizations to classify funds as contributions rather than profits.
6. Profit Payouts for Organizations
- Organizations receive 20% of total sales within 12 hours of the ordering window closing.
- Payouts are available via PayPal, check, or Venmo.
- Payment processing time may vary slightly depending on the amount and payment method chosen.
7. Order Changes & Cancellations
- Orders cannot be changed once the ordering window closes.
- If the ordering window is still open, customers may request a substitution for an item.
8. Shipping & Local Pickup
- Customers can choose shipping or local pickup.
- Shipping: Orders are shipped via USPS or UPS, and delivery times vary based on the carrier.

Local Pickup:
- A designated pickup day will be listed on the pop-up shop page, typically 12-14 days after the ordering window closes.
- Orders will be available at The Busy Bee Printery's order pickup shed or the host organization’s location (e.g., a school, business, or event site).
- Customers will receive email notifications with pickup details.
9. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments
- The Busy Bee Printery LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed shipments once they leave our facility.
- If a package is lost or damaged, customers must file a claim directly with USPS or UPS.
- However, we will assist customers in tracking lost packages and providing necessary documentation for claims.
10. Customer Data & Privacy Policy
- We respect customer privacy and do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
- Customer contact information may be shared with the organization hosting the pop-up shop for communication purposes.
11. Product Availability & Substitutions
- If an item becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to offer a comparable replacement.
- Colors and styles may vary slightly due to manufacturing differences.
12. Force Majeure Clause
- The Busy Bee Printery LLC is not liable for delays or failures in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supplier disruptions, and government actions.
13. Marketing & Promotion Rights
- The Busy Bee Printery LLC may use images of printed products for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Organizations may use The Busy Bee Printery LLC branding and promotional materials to advertise their pop-up shop.
14. Disputes & Legal Considerations
- Agreement to Terms: By placing an order, customers agree to all stated terms and conditions. These terms may be updated at any time.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes must first be addressed through written communication with The Busy Bee Printery LLC at thebusybeeprintery@gmail.com.
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any legal disputes must be resolved within Connecticut jurisdiction.
